Between September 7th and 12th, the Moscow ISKCON devotees took part in the annual Moscow International Book Fair, with about 1,500 publishing houses present.
At their booth there were 150 BBT book distributed, along with 3,000 leaflets and 800 prasadam sweets. As always, “Bhagavad Gita as it is” was the best-seller. The booth offered only Srila Prabhupada’s books in Russian, English and other languages, and a few culinary books by his disciples.
The booth was visited by journalists, too, who took interviews for their internet and radio stations.
The Fair schedules lots of presentations by Russian celebrities, such as detective book writers, children book authors, culinary bloggers, politicians, actors, etc. The Moscow devotees managed to present a few celebrities with Srila Radhanatha Swami’s new book The Journey Home
which has been recently released in Russian language.
