The ISKCON Congregational Development Ministry along with its co-ministers hosted the First International Bhakti-vriksha Convention, “Moving to the future with Bhakti-vriksha”.
On the 18th and 19th of August, 2012, 200 devotees from over 14 countries gathered at Srila Prabhupada’s Samadhi and took part in the Convention, in Sri Dham Mayapur.
For the past 15 years, Bhakti-vriksha has been a great preaching tool for many temples and congregation, bringing thousands of new devotees. On this occasion, leaders from different yatras worked together to plan the future of Bhakti-vriksha.
There were presentation from various leaders and group discussions turning this event into a successful program.
Some of the devotees who led the convention included Jayapataka Swami, Kaunteya Das, Vijay Venugopal Das, Prema Padmini Dasi, Ashraya Gauranga Das, Venu Krishna das, Caitanya Avatari Das, Manohara Shyam Das, Ravindra Nitai Das and more.
Since this program was a great success, the planning of the 2013 convention is already in place!
