The Sri Mayapur Community Hospital continues to reach new milestones in its construction and expansion of services, offering state-of-the-art care for residents of the Dham.
In a video released this week, Pranesvara Nityananda Das (Dr. Prasenjit Modak) gave viewers an inside look at the new theater complex, which enables the hospital to offer cutting-edge surgical care. An advanced operating table and specialized lighting give surgeons the maximum visibility for precision surgeries.
“The key highlight of our operating theater room is the advanced integrated laparoscopic tower, which enables us to carry out minimal invasive or keyhole surgery,” said Pranesvara Nityananda Das. This technology eliminates the need for larger incisions and provides the patient with less pain, quicker recovery, and a better operating experience.
With this new operating theater, the Sri Mayapur Community Hospital is now equipped for open and laparoscopic surgery, which includes appendicectomy, gall bladder, hernia, diagnostic laparoscopy, and gynecological surgery. To watch the video, click aquí.
Although this is a significant milestone, the project leader, Harilila Das, noted at a December inauguration event that the project still needs an additional ten crores (approximately 1 million USD) to finalize the building and equipment.
