The Sanga Initiative has announced that registration is now open for its life-changing Camp Ignite event, to be held from July 3 to 7, 2025, at the beautiful Retreat at Shenandoah Meadows, just 90 minutes from Washington, DC. Since its inception in 2014, Camp Ignite has been a special experience for youth from all over North America, where they can connect with Krishna in nature, engage in meaningful and relevant sangas, and create unforgettable memories throughout it all.
Youth ages 11-17 will be offered a unique adventure that combines excitement, bonding, and spiritual growth. Activities include water sports, sanga group discussions, team-building games, swimming, nature hikes, late-night bonfires, epic kirtans and japa, service opportunities, and three delicious fresh prasadam meals daily.
Anisha, who attended Camp Ignite as a 16-year-old in 2019 and is returning as a Camp Counselor this year, shares her experience: “Camp Ignite was one of the most impactful experiences of my life because of the lessons I learned: Spiritual life can be so much fun when you share it with friends and you can center your passion and interests around Krishna!”
While fun is at the forefront of Camp Ignite, keeping attendees safe and protected is at its heart. All counselors are background-checked and CPO (Child Protection Office) certified.
