  • Have You Witnessed A Prasadam Miracle?

    For the past 35 years I’ve been cooking prasadam in ISKCON kitchens, including the well-known Kalachandji’s Restaurant in Dallas, Texas started in 1982, and now in Gainesville, Florida, home of the huge daily Krishna Lunch program at the University of Florida serving 5,000 plates a week. After seeing prasadam touch so many lives, I have resolved to compile a book entitled The Glories of Krishna Prasadam to disseminate such prasadam pastimes along with other important related topics.

    This is Mark from Saranagati Farm in B.C. Canada. Visakha Devi-dasi and myself are organizing a tour of Europe by bicycle from Sweden to Spain in the fall of 2010. We will visit several Hare Krsna farms and temples along the way. A fee $1,000.00 will cover support vehicle and prasadam. You bring bike, sleeping arangement, helmet, etc.

  • San Diego Brahmacari Seminar

    ISKCON Sannyasa Ministry and many senior leaders have felt an increasing need for forums in which this training is systematically imparted, especially in North America. In response to this need a 3-day conference at ISKCON San Diego is planned by H.H. Candramauli Swami in a cooperative endeavor with H.H. Prahladananda Swami, H.H. Bhakti Vikasa Swami and H.G. Maha Tattva Prabhu T.P. ISKCON San Diego.

  • Mayapur Institute: Fulfilling ISKCON's First Purpose

    The Mayapur Institute's revised approach to the VTE Bhakti-sastri course, which will be piloted in Mayapur on November 9, 2008, deals with the main subjects of Bhakti-Sastri in seven distinct units. These seven units reflect the fundamental principles of learning presented in ISKCON's first purpose and in the VTE (Vaisnava Training and Education) approach to education, wherein students progressively learn knowledge ("spiritual knowledge"), skills ("techniques of spiritual life") and values ("check the imbalance of values...") in a systematic manner.
