ISKCON London is happy to announce the relaunch of the London College of Vedic Studies (LCVS) with fresh, innovative ideas and courses, keeping the community at heart and driven by the community to fulfill their requests for various courses. 

Due to staffing limitations, LCVS was dormant for some time, but with our new team of devotees, we are trying to revitalize the college, offering community support and care through facilitating courses and workshops to expand their knowledge and wisdom in Srila Prabhupada’s teachings.

London College of Vedic Studies offers a universal approach to spirituality grounded in the Krishna-conscious tradition of Bhakti-yoga, drawing from the teachings of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

At the LCVS, approachable and grounded tutors share transformative wisdom and effective spiritual practices tailored to the modern seeker. Through teachings on practical philosophy, lifestyle, culture, and spiritual activities, the college guides students on a journey of inspiration and holistic transformation. Recognizing this as a pressing need of our time, the college also extends its reach to the wider world, offering spiritual solutions that foster a more positive and harmonious planet.

We have courses certified by the ISKCON Board of Examination, as well as simple workshops to improve our skills and talents in our spiritual practices. We also have free courses and those offered for a minimal donation. The duration of those courses depends on the type, from day courses to year-long courses. Every week, we have a team led by Dharmendra Hathi who provides free online Learning Bhagavatam sessions. 

Additionally, LCVS offers courses, cultural events, retreats, and informal gatherings designed to help students apply their learning and navigate life’s challenges with greater happiness, health, and wisdom. More than just a center for spiritual growth, it is a welcoming and dynamic community of diverse, curious, and creative individuals. Here, you’ll build meaningful spiritual friendships that will enrich and illuminate your life’s journey.

In August 2024, we organized a retreat in New Mayapur in France with our community in ISKCON London called the “The Great Escape,” which was indeed a great success with Janananda Goswami and other devotees. We all went on harinam and book distribution in Tours which was a wonderful experience for many of us. We had an amazing bonfire night with Kirtan being sung all night with pizza for prasadam. We are planning our next retreat so watch this space for details.

• Glories of Srimad Bhagavatam: Facilitated by Karthik Candra Dasa

• Tulasi Seva Training: Facilitated by Ratnavali Devi dasi

• ISKCON UK Bhakti Vaibhava: Facilitated by Navadvip Candra Dasa

• The Journey of Self-Discovery: Facilitated by Vamsi Dhari Dasa
