Panel discussion moderated by Pancaratna Das at the Feb 20th Srila Prabhupada Connect Day program.

The Prabhupada Network Team, under the leadership of Janmastami Dasa, successfully organized two Srila Prabhupada Connect Days (SPCD) held on February 20 and March 13 in Mayapur. The gatherings successfully united devotees speaking several languages with senior devotees, who together glorified ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.  The aim of the events is to help devotees better understand Srila Prabhupada’s role in our movement and in their own lives, strengthen their connection with Srila Prabhupada, and become empowered to offer service in support of Srila Prabhupada’s mission.

The February 20th SPCD began with sannyasis commenting and discussing Srila Prabhupada’s Srimad Bhagavatam video classes in the respective languages. Bhakti Prachar Parivrajak Swami addressed Bengali-speaking devotees at the Pancha-Tattva Temple, while BVV Narasimha Swami guided the English session near Gita Bhavan. Vedavyasa Priya Swami and Bhakti Rasayana Sagar Swami spoke in Hindi and Russian, respectively, offering commentary and discussion around Srila Prabhupada’s teachings.

Following the morning classes, a kirtan was held, setting the stage for Gauranga Das to glorify Srila Prabhupada’s critical role in ushering in the 10,000-year golden age of Lord Chaitanya. Candramauli Swami introduced the concept of “unfinished business” in the Gita Nagari project, urging devotees to continue Srila Prabhupada’s legacy of establishing daiva-varnasrama.

Further sessions featured BVV Narasimha Swami speaking on associating with Srila Prabhupada through his books, while Sarva-drik Das presented Srila Prabhupada’s vision of ISKCON as a dynamic educational institution. Bhima Das reflected on the good fortune of receiving Prabhupada’s mercy and developing a heartfelt relationship with him.

Madana-mohan Das presented the Gift Prabhupada project, followed by an inspiring lecture by Radhika Nagara Das on “Our Future Hope”, the movement’s children, and how the highest priority should be given to children to facilitate their devotional development. There was a drama performance on “Prabhupada is Coming” by the boys of Sri Mayapur International School. The event also featured a children’s devotional competition award ceremony hosted by Ramanipati Das, celebrating the young devotees’ enthusiasm in service.

In the afternoon, Prahladananda Swami gave detailed insights on cultivating a loving relationship with Srila Prabhupada, and Braja Vilasa Das spoke on the importance Srila Prabhupada placed upon constructing the TOVP. The highlight of the evening was honoring Srila Prabhupada’s disciples, including another installment of Gift Prabhupada, and reflections by Hrdaya Caitanya Das and Jagadish Das on what would most please Srila Prabhupada now.

The day culminated in a powerful panel discussion titled “Experiencing Prabhupada’s Presence in Our Lives,” moderated by Pancharatna Das. Panelists included Kavichandra Swami, Devamrita Swami, Svayam Bhagavan Keshava Swami, Bhakti and Rasayana Sagar Swami. The evening ended with a final address by Jayapataka Swami on the “urgent need” to internalize and act on Srila Prabhupada’s instructions.

Building on the spirit of devotion and realization, the March 13 SPCD continued the momentum with another full day of kirtan, lectures, and heartfelt interactions. The speakers only spoke in Bengali. It began with Bhakti Vilasa Gaurachandra Swami’s interactive session on Srila Prabhupada’s Srimad Bhagavatam video class, setting a contemplative mood. This was followed by lectures from esteemed ISKCON leaders, including Bhakti Vijay Bhagavat Swami, Haladhara Swami, Jayapataka Swami, and Bhakti Prachar Parivrajak Swami, each emphasizing Srila Prabhupada’s personal role in their lives and in ISKCON’s mission.

Speakers throughout the day highlighted various aspects of Srila Prabhupada’s legacy—from his preaching strategies and surrender to Krishna, to his relationship with Srila Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Thakura and his focus on sadacara. Kirtan interludes were arranged by Subhovijay Das.

The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring Jayapataka Swami, Bhakti Vijay Bhagavat Swami, Bhakti Prachar Parivrajak Swami, and Padma Netra Das. Moderated by Padmanayana Das, this session enabled the speakers to share their personal experiences of how Srila Prabhupada continues to guide and inspire them, emphasizing the eternal relevance of his instructions.
