Honoring 57 Years of Devotion: UK Prabhupada Disciples Reunion Set for June in Lincolnshire

Srila Prabhupada at the Bhaktivedanta Manor with his disciples.

The Prabhupada disciples in the UK are hosting a Reunion Sanga in Lincolnshire, UK, from June 13-16th, 2025, inviting all Godbrothers and Godsisters and their partners who have served in the UK at some time over the past 57 years.

The 3-day sanga will be held at The Vedanta, a devotee-owned and managed 4-star retreat centre in Lincolnshire (a three-hour drive north of Bhaktivedanta Manor). It will be a Prabhupada-centered event, with a focus on the devotees, their care, and encouragement. We have block-booked the entire 45 bedrooms surrounded by 35 acres of beautiful grounds. The Vedanta can comfortably sleep around 85 persons, with at least two single beds per room, each with a full ensuite bathroom and shower facilities. Other amenities include a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and four lounges, providing ample space. One of the lounges will be our temple room.

We currently have 62 confirmed bookings and are now opening the door to our international Godbrothers and Godsisters to recognize their contributions to what has become a very successful devotee community as its oldest members are easing into our old age.  This may never happen again.

This retreat is all privately funded, including three meals a day, so there is no charge to attend. However, donations towards the costs are appreciated.

Transport will be arranged from Bhaktivedanta Manor on June 13th and returning on June 16th, if needed. At the time of writing, we do not know the date of the London Rathayatra.

Through the surrender of those living in the Ashram in the 1970s and their taking up full-time devotional service under Srila Prabhupada’s direction, strong foundations were laid for today’s Iskcon in the UK. But also strong bonds were built serving together, with the many Preaching programmes and maintaining the temples, the deities, and devotees.

This gathering is a gesture of thanks and appreciation for all the devotional service rendered to build Srila Prabhupada’s mission, and to their Lordships, Sri Sri Radha London Isvara and Radha Gokulananda. If anyone has an email contact for a devotee who served in the UK, please share that with us so they can be invited and know they are remembered and appreciated for their contributions.

Srila Prabhupada said, “It should be our definite policy that nobody is ill treated that he may go away. We recruit a person to join us after spending gallons of blood. Everyone comes for reformation, you cannot expect everyone to be perfect, rather it is our duty to make everyone perfect as far as possible. So we shall be very much cautious and careful in this connection” (Letter to Tamala Krsna – Bhativedanta Manor 23 August, 1973).

To register for the event, share a contact, or ask any questions, please contact Amita Das at [email protected] or via WhatsApp 07973 377824. You will also receive the latest invitation and newsletter regarding this reunion.
