ISKCON Philadelphia Welcomes Srimati Vrinda-devi
By ISKCON News Staff   |  Nov 21, 2021

Sunday, November 21, join us in welcoming Srimati Vrinda-devi as well as Srimati Tulsi-devi into her new room.  When Srimati Vrinda Devi entered into the material world she manifested herself as the sacred Tulsi plant.  Being very dear to Lord Krishna, her leaves are an essential part of Krishna’s worship.  She is extremely merciful and, by serving her, our devotional service to Krishna will grow.  In the spiritual world, Srimati Vrinda-devi organizes all the arrangements for Radha and Krishna’s pastimes.

ye tomara sarana loy, tara vancha purna hoy
kripa kori’ koro tare vrindavana-vasi

“Whoever takes shelter of you has his wishes fulfilled. Bestowing your mercy on him, you make him a resident of Vrindavana.”

We cannot awaken devotion to Krishna by ourselves. However, by association with Srimati Tulsi-devi and with the devotees, that devotion to Krishna that is actually natural to us can be awakened. Srimati Tulsi-devi can give us entrance into Vrindavan and can fulfill all of our desires.
