Whether you’re seeking to serve as a facilitator, an outreach ambassador, or a leader, this program offers a range of certification levels based on your level of inspiration and commitment to service.

This course is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge in various aspects of outreach activities, ashram development, and pastoral care. It provides a comprehensive understanding of building, growing and maintaining a healthy community of sincere practitioners of Krishna consciousness, offering practical tools for both spiritual and personal growth.

Certification Levels
Facilitator
The Facilitator level is for those who feel called to give support to the outreach mission via cooking, cleaning, shopping, transportation, hospitality, etc.
Outreach Ambassador
Outreach Ambassadors are those who have a strong passion for spreading the message of Krishna consciousness to others. They take on a more active role in outreach programs, including organizing and leading activities, building connections with new devotees, and providing a welcoming environment for those interested in joining the ashram.
Leader
The Leader level is for those who feel a deep, committed calling to lead and inspire communities. Leaders take responsibility for the spiritual and logistical aspects of ashram development, outreach programs, conflict resolution, and maintaining a balanced, healthy environment for all members.

Course Topics
Each certification level builds upon foundational teachings and practical skills. Nine interactive sessions are available in this certificate course that will focus on the following topics:

Relationships Between Leaders
Gain practical tips and insight on how to create and maintain good relationships between leaders within your Krishna House project and also between Krishna House leaders and temple leaders if your project is part of a larger temple.

Building Successful Ashrams; Ashram Development
Learn how to attract, nurture, and release angelic new Vaishnavas in a world where they are desperately needed. Students will gain a working knowledge of all facets of a successful ashram– facilities, management, education, and more.

How to Lead an Outreach Program & Outreach Maintenance
Learn practical skills in leading and organizing outreach initiatives. Whether it’s spreading the teachings of Krishna consciousness in your local community or establishing new centers, you’ll learn effective strategies for attracting and engaging new devotees. You will also learn how to sustain outreach efforts, ensuring that your programs continue to engage and inspire both new and long-time devotees.

Conflict Resolution, Basic Mediation and Pastoral Counseling
Conflict Resolution and Basic Mediation will teach you how to mediate between conflicting parties and maintain a peaceful, cooperative environment within your outreach programs and ashram life. Pastoral Counseling will guide you in developing compassionate pastoral care skills for guiding individuals through personal and spiritual challenges. Learn how to offer emotional and spiritual support, listen deeply, and help others navigate life’s difficulties in the light of Krishna consciousness.

Life Balance – Effective Sadhana, Personal Time Management & Project Management
One of the most essential skills for spiritual leaders is the ability to balance service, personal sadhana (spiritual practice), and self-care. This course will teach you time management strategies to help you and those under your care maintain spiritual practices while managing outreach programs and personal responsibilities.
