NA Child Protection Office is Expanding Staff, New Positions Announced
By Lilasuka Dasi, Director Child Protection Office - North America   |  Sep 17, 2024
nw

ISKCON in North America is growing by leaps and bounds. Child protection needs to grow along with it. At the very beginning of Srimad Bhagavatam, Srila Prabhupada stated, “The protection of children gives the human form of life its best chance to prepare the way of liberty from material bondage” (SB 1.8.5, purport).

We want to thank the ISKCON centers across the U.S. and Canada who are increasing their contributions and enabling the Child Protection Office to add much-needed staff. The Child Protection Office North America is now searching for an Office Manager and a Response Coordinator. Filling these positions will strengthen child protection and lay the groundwork for healthier, happier devotees and stronger families, thus creating a brighter and more Krishna-conscious future for all.

We encourage you to share these job descriptions with anyone you believe could be interested and qualified to join our team. Your recommendations could be instrumental in finding the right candidates for these important roles. Please also consider sharing our Facebook post with your network.

“These children are given to us by Krishna, they are Vaisnavas and we must be very careful to protect them. These are not ordinary children, they are Vaikuntha children, and we are very fortunate we can give them chance to advance further in Krishna Consciousness. That is very great responsibility, do not neglect it or be confused. Your duty is very clear.” – Srila Prabhupada, in a July 30, 1972 letter.
