In order to provide facilities for ongoing training and education for the local Vaishnavas, in 2008, Nitai Chaitanya Goswami started a new temple construction in the West-Russian city, Kursk. After years of hard work and preparation, the center has finally opened on the 5th of May, 2012.

The new building includes two class-rooms for studies and a 90 square meter temple room. The full size of the center is 360 square meters.

On the 5th of May, over a hundred Hare Krishna devotees from all over Russia gathered in Kursk to celebrate the opening of the new center. They all went out to the main square of the city and sang and danced as one. Nothing like this has ever happened in Kursk before. Passersby stopped, watched, and took photos.

The colorful performance has lasted for several hours.
