By Nandan Dasa, Mayapur Master Plan Office   |  Sep 10, 2024
nw

On the auspicious occasion of Radhastami 2024, ISKCON Mayapur launched the “Navadvipa Mandal” feature on both the Mayapur app and website. This offering is dedicated to Srimati Radharani, who manifested the sacred land of Navadvipa. We warmly invite all devotees to explore and immerse themselves in the divine glories of Navadvipa Mandal through this new virtual experience.

LEARN Teachings of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu

Srila Prabhupada said, “My idea is to attract people of the whole world to Mayapur.” The Mayapur app is an initiative to help fulfill this vision by connecting visitors with the spiritual essence of Sri Mayapur Dham, the crown jewel of all holy places. The app offers a comprehensive pilgrimage experience, providing information on main attractions, accommodations, prasadam, shopping, and visitor facilities within the ISKCON Mayapur campus and other sacred sites in Navadvipa Mandal. Our goal is to inspire everyone on their spiritual journey by enriching their understanding of the teachings of Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

DISCOVER Holy Places in Navadvipa Mandal

Our mission is to serve and inspire visitors, the guests of Mahaprabhu, by ensuring they have a meaningful and uplifting experience while exploring the sacred sites of Navadvipa Mandal. The Mayapur app and website offer darshan of beautiful deities. We strive to present the vani of the acharyas alongside scriptural references from Sri Navadvipa-dhama Mahatmya, Srila Prabhupada’s books and lectures, Sri Caitanya Bhagavata, Vaishnava songs, and more, giving pilgrims the opportunity to relish the pastimes of the Supreme Lord. Additionally, we provide precise locations of these holy places, making it easy for visitors to discover them using Google Maps technology. This unique initiative serves as a virtual tour guide, aiming to boost spiritual tourism as well as promote cooperation with Gaudiya Maths by encouraging pilgrims to visit both renowned and hidden sites within Navadvipa Mandal.

CONNECT with Sri Mayapur Dham

Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura writes in Sri Navadvipa Dham Mahatmya, “What one attains by traveling to all the holy places is attained just by remembering Navadvipa.” The Mayapur app aims to be the ultimate digital gateway for deepening spiritual understanding and strengthening one’s connection with Sri Mayapur Dham, all conveniently accessible through a smartphone. It offers quick and easy access to resources like live darshan, spiritual wisdom, festival notifications, and seva opportunities, fostering a routine of daily spiritual connection. Amidst a busy day, a glance at the app icon can serve as a mindfulness trigger, prompting users to pause and meditate on the teachings of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

EMBRACE Spiritual Heritage

We pray that the information shared online will inspire visitors to eagerly explore, experience, and embrace Sri Mayapur Dham’s spiritual and cultural heritage. For added convenience, all the content available on the Mayapur mobile app is also accessible on the Mayapurapp website. The website offers translation into multiple languages via Google and includes a search bar for easy access to information. We hope this project enriches your spiritual pilgrimage to Sri Mayapur Dham, the crest jewel of all holy places.
