    The first mega kirtan festival at Jagannatha Puri entitled as “Chant for Change” attracted more than 10,000 people on the idyllic and historic sea beach at Jagannatha Puri. Held very near to the Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s beachside statue at Swargadwar, the festival had the crowds chanting, dancing and drowning in the nectar of harinam sankirtana.

  • Mayapur Convention Extends Care to Tribal Peoples of India

    Over 650 tribal people from six different states and twenty-seven tribes in India attended the second annual ISKCON Tribal Convention from March 26th to 29th in Mayapur, West Bengal this spring. The event was organized by ISKCON Tribal Care (ITC), which provides spiritual, educational, emotional, social and health care to tribal communities throughout India.
