The Teachers Training Course Level 2 (TTC 2) will be offered at New Raman Reti (Alachua, FL, USA). This is a six-hour a day, six-day course that offers a certificate of completion and is the prerequisite for Bhakti Sastri teachers’ certification.

This year the course will be offered from April 29th-May6th. May 5th is Ratha Yatra in Clearwater Beach. So there is no class on 5th May. This class is open for men and women.

Anyone who attends will have the opportunity to acquire necessary skills to assist them in sharing their knowledge with others in a clear and effective manner. There are unlimited possibilities in using the information in preaching work (giving a well organized and informative class, being effective in book distribution, or just sharing Krishna Consciousness in an informal setting).

What participants will learn:
• Speaking skills
• Effective use of resources
• Proper delineation of aims and objectives
• Skills in writing lesson outlines/plans
• The ability to give oral feedback for assessment
• Different interactive teaching and preaching styles
• The art of empathic listening
• The art of balancing your presentations between study and recreation

The Teacher Training Course has been professionally developed by the UK-based VTE (Vaisnava Training and Education) and is the first of a series of several courses for training teachers.

Laxmimoni devi dasi will facilitate this course. She has offered this course in Finland, Slovenia, Auckland, Hungary and many times in Radhadesh and Vrindavan.

Participants need to attend all six days of this course. There is a fee of $50 to cover all materials. Fee also covers meals. In order to take TTC2 you must either have teaching or equivalent experience or have taken TTC1.

For out of town participants, there is facility for women (without children) to stay at the Bhakti Bhavan ashram. Men traveling to Alachua may contact the New Raman Reti temple or a friend in Alachua for accommodations.
