VIHE Announces 2015 Bhakti-shastri and Bhakti-vaibhava Courses

The Bhakti-sastri and the Bhakti-vaibhava courses are a systematic study of Srila Prabhupada’s books. Srila Prabhupada wanted ISKCON devotees to deeply study his books, so that they could become better preachers and teachers, and, very importantly, achieve a clear understanding and application of the beautiful science of devotional service.

This year the Vaishnava Institute for Higher Education (VIHE) has scheduled its English Bhakti-sastri course for the period starting July 4 and ending November 4th, 2015, in Vrindavan, India.

The Bhakti-vaibhava course, Srimad Bhagavatam Cantos 1 and 2, is running from July 24 to November 4, 2015.

Requirements for the courses: Good sadhana, brahminical tendencies, voluntary service, proficiency in English and a 2 recommendation/character sketch, one from your spiritual master and from a senior devotee who knows the applicant well. Assessment criteria include attendance and personal conduct.

Assessment: Essays and closed book exams accompanied by exemplary conduct and sadhana.

Admissions close on: June 1, 2015.
