According to various online health reports, His Holiness B.V. Narayana Maharaja, a prominent Vaishnava leader and founder-acarya of the BHAKTI Trust Mission, has been diagnosed with inoperable stage-4 colorectal cancer and is preparing to pass away from this world.

Doctors discovered the cancer in mid-September, and BHAKTI Trust leaders say that in the present circumstances, it is possible that Maharaja may pass away at some time during the month of October.

A disciple of Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja—himself one of the foremost disciples of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati—Narayana Maharaja, now just four months shy of ninety years old, has served the Gaudiya Vaishnava community as a sannyasi for fifty-eight years.
