On February 25th, Mendoza, Argentina, held its annual "Blessing of the Fruits" festival, thanking God for a bountiful harvest. The cultural event, which has been going on since the 1930s, included religious leaders from different traditions who each contributed to the program. Baladeva Das, ISKCON's Regional Director of Communications in Latin America, beautifully chanted the Panca-tattva and Hare Krsna mantras and blew a conch shell for the estimated 15,000 people who were gathered at the festival.
17 January 2024- At their annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the World Economic Forum (WEF) released a "Faith in Action" report to world leaders gathered at the iconic event. According to the WEP press release, the report "offers examples of businesses partnering with faith-based groups to support vulnerable populations and address the world’s interconnected crises." Among the eight case studies highlighted is a new partnership between the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) and the Haribol food company. The recognition of ISKCON-Haribol as a case study inspired by Vedic values illustrates the promise of meaningful partnerships between faith communities and the private sector to address complex global challenges.
On 17th January, Prabhupada Prana Das, Temple President of the ISKCON Karuna Bhavan temple in Lesmahagow, Scotland, met with Scotland's First Minister Humza Yousaf along with other representatives of the Scottish Hindu Foundation (SHF).
ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Temple President, Visakha Dasi, joined 21 other senior faith representatives and those in the field of education from across Hertfordshire County for a special interfaith event. They each signed what is called the "Hertfordshire Faith Covenant" which included a shared set of principles that will shape engagement between faith communities and public services in the area. According to a report by Radha Mohan Das, the Manor's Communications Officer, "It aims to promote open, practical modes of working together and to strengthen community cohesion."

On December 7th, Kunti Devi Dasi, ISKCON's Interreligious Dialogue representative in Brazil, was invited to speak at an event that brought together justices from the Regional and Federal Courts of Justice in Rio de Janeiro. The auspicious occasion was held at the feet of the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, a colossal Christian monument atop the Corcovado mountain overlooking Rio. The theme of the gathering was "justice," and it featured representatives from various religious traditions who brought their unique perspectives to the topic with an aim to promote understanding and more meaningful interreligious dialogue. Kunti Devi Dasi spoke on the Vedic approach to justice.

King Charles III of the United Kingdom recently met with over 30 faith leaders and community representatives at the historic Lambeth Palace Library in central London. The event was part of the annual "Inter Faith Week," which aims to promote tolerance and greater understanding between different faiths and communities. Among the select guests joining the King was Visakha Dasi, President of ISKCON’s Bhaktivedanta Manor.
ISKCON leaders Visakha Dasi, Vinay Tanna, and Radha Mohan Das from the Bhaktivedanta Manor joined senior faith leaders today at St Albans Cathedral as a witness for peace in the Middle East. They were invited by HM Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire Mr. Robert Voss, and Rt. Revd. Dr. Alan Smith, the Bishop of St Albans, to stand in solidarity with other faith groups across Hertfordshire in an act of silent witness and prayer. "It was a show of unity in a prayer for peace and stability in the region of Israel and Gaza," said Radha Mohan Das, Communications Officer for the Manor.
