ISKCON Community Life, a division of the ISKCON Congregational Development Ministry, recognized the outstanding contributions to devotee care of three very special individuals by giving them the following awards:

Trailblazer in Community Wellness Award – Rambhoru Devi (ACBSP)
Director/Founder & Training Supervisor, Karuna Care Association. After 26 years of international pioneer outreach work (while raising two sons), Rambhoru Devi completed her B.A. in Religious Studies and earned master’s degrees in Divinity and Patient Counseling. She also became a Board-Certified Chaplain and served as Director of the St. Camillus Center for Spiritual Care. Among other things, Rambhoru Devi also serves within the ISKCON Prison Ministry, corresponding with and providing Srila Prabhupada’s books to prison inmates since 2015.

The Karuna Care Association Rambhoru serves the Vaishnava community by training qualified, second-initiated devotees as lay ministers, or chaplains, equipping them with the tools to work in settings such as hospitals, hospices, prisons, assisted living homes, orphanages, and within ISKCON communities, as compassionate caregivers.

Bhakti Counselling Award – Dr. Sridevi Dasi
She holds a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, and she is also a trained medical doctor (M.D.; D.C.H.) who worked as a Pediatrician and Newborn Care Specialist (India) before taking up mental health. She also has a Diploma in Child Care (India). She resides in Sridham Mayapur. A member of Grihastha Vision Team, she counsels devotees to become stronger mentally and emotionally.

Leadership in Addiction Recovery Award: Jiva-Daya Devi (Jiva Gwen Hammond)
Born in the U.S. and based in Germany, Jiva is a life coach, yoga instructor, and the visionary behind the Bhakti Recovery Group. She has been a beacon of hope for many seeking recovery from drug, alcohol, and other forms of addiction. Her unique blend of spiritual teachings and practical support has created a safe and nurturing space for individuals to heal and rediscover their true selves. Her work not only aids in recovery but also encourages individuals to reconnect with their spirituality and community.
