This is an emergency health update of HH Bhakti Madhurya Govinda Goswami Maharaja. Maharaja was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Hospital, New Delhi for a critical surgery recently. Dr. HG Krishna Priya Pr who has been constantly coordinating with the Doctors has sent in this update.

The nerve blockage near the spine has now extended to the upper region of the spine. Maharaja continues to be unable to move both his arms and legs and the situation is critical.

In a significant and critical setback at 10.30 am today Maharaja had a sudden cardiac arrest and had to be revived by the doctors.

By Krishna’s mercy now he is conscious and responding to commands but on the ventilator.

He did not want to be on the ventilator, but it was imperative as he would have stopped breathing otherwise. The doctors are trying their best, however, it appears that we have to now increasingly depend on the Supreme Doctor-Krishna.

The next 24 hours are critical. Please advise your community of devotees to continue praying intensely for Maharaja’s health to Lord Narasimha Deva and your respective local deities, that if They so desire, Maharaja may resume his active services to Srila Prabhupada at the earliest possible and continue his inspirational contributions to this movement.
