The US Embassy of India has recently shared key information about the 80th and 81st editions of its flagship initiative, the “Know India Programme” (KIP). According to Mr. Jag Mohan, the Minister of Community and Personnel, they aim to proactively reach young adults in the Indian Diaspora (age 21-35) to secure their maximum participation in these editions. The 80th and 81st editions of the KIP are also scheduled to coincide with the upcoming 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention.

KIP seeks to connect young people with India and expose them to various aspects of contemporary Indian Art, Heritage, Culture, Economy, Innovation, and Science and Technology. It also endeavors to motivate and inspire them to contribute and participate in the transformative initiatives of the Government of India towards the establishment of Viksit Bharat.
