ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission have added a new member to their ranks.

Dina Sarana Dasi joined the GBC by unanimous vote on February 21 — day 10 of the ISKCON management entity’s Annual General Meetings in Mayapur, India.

A disciple of Srila Prabhupada, Dina Sarana oversees ISKCON’s activities in Germany and Austria. Her diligent work in the region for the past five years, as both a Euro GBC and a GBC Deputy, has gained her much respect from local devotees as well as the international body.

Dina Sarana is only the second ever female devotee to join the GBC since its inception in 1970, following early Prabhupada disciple Malati Dasi.
