The Brahmacharis from the Monastery of the Holy Name in Lithuania are gearing up for their renowned and life-altering summer Harinama Sankirtana Tour. This transformative journey will traverse numerous Baltic and European cities, offering a unique spiritual experience to all who join.
The Sankirtan Tour starts today with the Holy Name Retreat at the Harinam Mandir in Lithuania from May 3-5, followed by a life-changing journey across Europe visiting Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, and Portugal. It will conclude with the popular Summer Baltic Festival in Lithuania from July 21-28th.
Vraja Kishor Das, a Brahmacari and social media coordinator, said, “It’s truly remarkable to have such an inspirational group leader like Ananda Vardhana Swami, whose guidance and teachings uplift all group members on their spiritual journey. His incredible classes and personal instructions are invaluable for our spiritual advancement. As we travel across Europe, Maharaj continues to share his wisdom through classes and seminars in local ISKCON communities, enriching the spiritual lives of many.”
Despite the smaller population in Baltic countries compared to Western Europe, their efforts to disseminate Lord Krishna’s message have made profound inroads. The experience of chanting to larger Western European crowds is particularly uplifting, with the spiritual energy drawing people to stop, listen, and even join in the chanting and dancing.
Vraja Kishor shared, “It’s heart-warming to witness the increasing familiarity with Krishna’s holy names among people over the years. With millions of books being distributed throughout Europe and thousands of Harinams, the spiritual awakening is palpable.”
He continued, “Witnessing this transformation is truly magical. Moreover, the enthusiasm of people to take books about Krishna and contribute to our activities is inspiring. These tours are not only beneficial for those who interact with devotees but also for us, as devotees, as they provide opportunities for spiritual growth and deeper connections with Krishna through temple visits and collective spiritual activities.”
Vraja Kishor concluded by encouraging and inviting those residing in the above-mentioned places to join them. He said, ‘If you happen to be in one of the cities where we’ll be visiting, we encourage you to come and experience his enlightening teachings firsthand, or join us for a blissful Harinam. The association with such a saintly soul is a rare and precious opportunity for spiritual growth.”
