ISKCON Coyhaique held its fourth annual Ratha Yatra Festival of India event on January 27, 2004. It included a procession of Lord Jagannath’s chariot with harinam sankirtan, followed by book and prasadam distribution, cultural exhibitions, and activities for children at the Plaza de Armas de Coyhaique.
Coyhaique, located in the Aysén Region of Chile, is the region’s largest city and serves as a commercial and administrative center. Nestled amidst the picturesque Patagonian landscape, Coyhaique serves as a gateway for outdoor activities in the Patagonian wilderness.
Devotees from different parts of the region traveled to Coyhaique to offer devotional service at the festival. ISKCON Coyhaique expressed their gratitude for their generosity and offered their special appreciation to Kamalanandini Devi Dasi and Ramahaladar Das, who for decades have shared the philosophy of Bhakti yoga, offering invaluable service to Srila Prabhupada’s mission. Thanks were also extended to Bhakti Aryava Priti Vardhana Swami, a renowned teacher who participated in the festival and earlier spiritual activities in Santiago and Coyhaique.
