On November 19, 2024, Guruttama Dasa, one of the managers of ISKCON Finland, attended an important meeting at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki, hosted by the President of Finland, Mr. Alexander Stubb. The gathering brought together religious leaders from different faiths in Finland. The meeting offered a platform for discussion on various important topics: importance of religious practice, promoting the inter-faith dialogue and efforts to combat racism and discrimination.
Guruttama Dasa expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to participate in this significant event, “The meeting was very inspiring. We were glad to see Mr. President listening to religious leaders in a respectful way and honored to represent Srila Prabhupada’s movement at this important meeting.”
ISKCON Finland, through its Hindu Forum Finland initiative, is a permanent member of USKOT forum, the Finnish cooperation forum for religious organizations. This involvement strengthens ISKCON’s role in fostering interfaith dialogue.
