ISKCON’s Ministry of Cow Protection and Agriculture held its first European Farm Conference with face-to-face attendees following a three-year gap due to COVID-19. The September 29th-October 1st event brought leaders from across Europe together to share the latest ideas and solutions for sustainable farming practices.
This year, the event was held at the Lark Hill Farm near Leipzig, Germany, the vision of Robert Kuene, who works the 300-hectare organic, arable farm dedicated to regenerative farming practices.
Inspired by Kuene’s approach, Kalakantha Das, the Global Minister for Cow Protection and Agriculture, arranged and presided over this year’s conference. Participants from across Europe who are actively working in cow protection, agriculture, horticulture, and other rural enterprises were inspired by this year’s presentations filled with practical wisdom on regenerative farming.
Devotees came from Bhaktivedanta Manor (England), New Mayapur (France), Radhadesh (Belgium), New Vraja-dhama (Hungary), Simhachalam (Germany), and other communities.
