An online workshop called Small Is Powerful, led by Mahatma Das, will be held in two groups on November 22-23, 2024, and November 30-December 1, 2024. This workshop, offered in multiple languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, and Russian, will guide participants in exploring how humility and self-honesty shape and influence their spiritual journey.

Srila Prabhupada always stressed the importance of humility as the foundation for gaining knowledge. In a room conversation on April 17, 1976, in Bombay, he said, “The first requisite is humility, that ‘I have no knowledge, I have to go to somebody who has knowledge.’ This is humility. And if you think, ‘I have got very advanced knowledge. Why shall I go to anyone?’ there is no entrance in knowledge.”

As the workshop title suggests, the focus will primarily be on how true strength lies in embracing smallness. The program will emphasize how considering oneself humble is essential for fostering deeper relationships with others and strengthening one’s connection with Krishna.

Participants will explore scriptural teachings and insights from previous acharyas on the importance of humility and avoiding fault-finding. Through stories and practical examples of how devotees have exhibited humility in their lives, the workshop offers opportunities for self-reflection. Various exercises will reveal subtle aspects of pride and false ego, helping participants understand how these qualities affect their progress in Krishna consciousness.

The workshop will take place in two sessions: the first on Nov 22-23 from 6:00–9:30 PM EDT, and the second on Nov 30-Dec 1 from 7:00–10:30 AM EDT. This workshop is an opportunity for sincere seekers to deepen their practice of bhakti through the cultivation of humility and self-honesty. Early registration is encouraged due to limited seating.
