The Vrindavan Institute for Higher Education (VIHE) will start its new series of the Bhakti-vaibhava course from 4 January to 5 April 2024. The course will begin from Canto 1 and be held on-site in Sri Vrndavana Dhama.
Apart from the regular classes, there will be classes for the memorization of verses, group work, and presentations by students. It will also include japa sessions, value classes, dhama darsana, and festivals. The course will be a verse-by-verse study of Srimad-Bhagavatam. One needs to have a Bhakti-sastri degree with them in order to start with the Bhakti-vaibhava Canto 1 course.
Also, there will be various seminars as a part of the Bhakti-vaibhava course like The Invocation, Candas of Srimad-Bhagavatam, and The Six Vedic Philosophies.
One of our Bhakti-vaibhava students, Kasturika Devi Dasi, shares her experience, “Because the teachers are so experienced, they really know how to make the sastras applicable to ourselves and others. Teachers make sure that we are learning the course. I really appreciate that. Each teacher has their own style, and it is amazing because you can see the same point from different angles of vision. After studying Bhagavatam, I became more conscious, I learned acceptance, and I saw that there was a purification because of the association of Bhagavatam and the devotees. There is a lot of mercy. The course helped us become more authentic and really understand Srila Prabhupada’s mood and mission. We had so many assignments, and we got feedback from the teachers and students, so we learned a lot.”
