As the General Assembly of the United Nations convened in New York, events around the world drew attention to the issue of climate change. In New York City, more than 400,000 people took to the streets in the People’s Climate March to make a big statement about the urgency of the issue. Among the marchers were thousands of people representing the full spectrum of faith groups, coming together in the belief that all people are steward’s of God’s creation.
