Chilean Devotees Inspire 300 Prisoners
Kirtan band Krishna Sambandha were invited to hold a Krishna conscious outreach program for inmates at the San Miguel women’s prison in Santiago, Chile on January 19th. The band plays concerts regularly all over Chile at prestigious theaters, cultural events and massive yoga retreats with audiences of 5,000 to 7,000 people. They also hold programs in hospitals, nursing homes, children’s homes, and of course prisons.
Twenty eight devotees from the ISKCON Santiago de Chile along with 250 books of Srila Prabhupada, made their way to one of the most famous prisons in Chile called "Santiago 1".

Spanish Inmates Taste Krishna Food for the First Time Ever
On December 4th, Spanish inmates and guards at Ceuta Prison were the first in the country’s history to eat a full traditional prasadam meal. Ceuta, a city bordering Morocco, is separated from mainland Spain by Gibraltar. Its prison has 350 inmates and more than 100 guards.
Tihar Jail Inmates Chant, Dance, Feast and Read
New Delhi ISKCON devotees kicked off a program at Tihar Jail on December 2nd with a one-hour kirtan chant, raising inmates to their feet to dance and sing along.
