"O Mother Radhe / You are so sweet and strong.. / In most amazing and caring ways / Your compassion makes me feel I belong…"
Srila Prabhupada explains that if you offer your sincere prayer into the hand of Sri Radha, she will recommend you to Him, saying, “this devotee is better than me, please accept her!
Visakha Devi is very learned in many branches of knowledge, just like her scholarly father. She is a wise counselor and a diplomat in loving affairs, and is very expert at joking.
“Mayapur is so huge, and so many pilgrims come for the main Radhastami celebration at the temple, that it’s not really a community celebration,” says parent and teacher Noam Hillel. “So we decided to hold our own festival the evening after the main one, with students, faculty, parents and all other community members who wanted to attend.” About fifty youth under eighteen worked hard to put on the festival, with boys and girls embarking on their own separate efforts and bringing them together on the day.
Some ISKCON temples have been adding new experiences to their biggest festivals to sweeten and deepen devotees’ absorption in serving the Lord, including this year’s Radhastami festival. In Dallas, USA, there were two Radhastami festivals this year, each with their own unique element. On the official Radhastami day itself, Friday September 9th, devotees bathed Sri Sri Radha Kalachandji in an unbelievable 50,000 roses during a Puspa Abhisekha.
A meditation on Srimati Radharani. She is the dearmost beloved of Sri Krishna, and also is pure spiritual energy incarnate. Srimati Radhika is always thinking lovingly of Krishna; she is the perfect example of a pure devotee, always wanting to serve and please Krishna.
The naming ceremony of Radha from Krishna aur Kans movie.
These famous prayers were sung by the Gopis when Krishna suddenly disappeared from their company and they were searching for Him everywhere. This is one of the finest poetry ever composed. Srimad Bhagavatam is ‘Grantharaja’, the king of all the scriptures and this poetry is one of its crest jewels. (Music and video by Dr. Sahadeva Dasa)
This is a brisk two-minute drop of nectar from Srimati Radharani's magic abode. The use of drone technology to rise into the air in Varshana's sunset creates a perfect mood for darshan of the supreme Feminine Godhead. The devotional ascension, in synergy with the superb score by grammy award-winner Ilan Chester, takes the viewer up the palace's fortress with an ease that bhakti alone can provide.
