As they do every year, over eight hundred disciples and congregational devotees celebrated the Vyasa-puja, or birthday, ISKCON guru Bhakti Vikas Swami. This year, Maharaja’s 52nd, the festivities took place on January 3rd. But hospitality from a different branch of Vaishnavaism added a twist. This year's event was hosted by the Madhva Sampradaya and held in Udupi, the south Indian town where Madhvacharya "one of the greatest Vaishnava teachers of all time" lived eight hundred years ago.
This year, as always, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust requests Srila Prabhupada's followers to submit their homages to Srila Prabhupada for his Vyasa-puja book.

Janmastami, the occasion of Lord Krishna’s appearance in Vrindavana, India, some 5,000 years ago, is celebrated with great fervor and pomp by ISKCON devotees all over the world. The following day heralds the Vyasa Puja, or birthday of Srila Prabhupada, a spiritual emissary who brought the worship of Lord Krishna to the Western World in the 1960s and founded ISKCON.

Vyasa-puja is an annual celebration by devotees of Krishna to offer homage to their guru, or spiritual teacher. Each year, the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust publishes a limited number of copies of a Vyasa-puja book—a collection of homages to Srila Prabhupada from devotees and temples all over the world.
On August 26th, ISKCON worldwide celebrated its founder A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's birthday by offering hommages.
By releasing a Vyasa-puja pack, with its booklet, posters, postcards, banners, videos and more, the Srila Prabhupada Position Committee aims to inspire and facilitate ISKCON temples and communities worldwide to enhance the celebration of Srila Prabhupada’s annual Vyasa-puja festivities.
Now, in time for the upcoming Janmasthami and Srila Prabhupada Vyasa Puja festivals, ISKCON Communications Ministry offers centers around the globe the opportunity to entertain and inspire their congregation by screening the hour-long ‘The Joy of Devotion’ film. Now, the film also available in Spanish.
The film is now available for public screening and home streaming in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Hungarian.
The main cake featured the name “Prabhupada” cut into individual letters. These were surrounded by twenty-six small cakes, each with one of his qualities artfully inscribed upon it.
