The Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah welcomes thousands of students every year thanks to long-term relationships the devotee community has cultivated with public and private schools in the Beehive State. Groups are treated to a Temple tour with a presentation, Q&A, and prasadam, as well as time with the cows, llamas, exotic birds, peacocks, and other residents.

“Today we had the pleasure of hosting 100 children from the American Preparatory Academy in Draper,” said Caru Das, Temple Co-President, “Vaibhavi Devi Dasi (Co-President) and community member Brent headed up the tour team.”

“On May 1st, 60 High School students and several teachers came from Alta High in SLC for a tour,” noted Caru Das, “Alta High has been coming every year for more than 20 years.”

In April, the temple hosted at least half a dozen school tours, including 80 2nd-graders, plus teachers and parents from American Preparatory Academy in American Fork. This is just one of the creative outreaches that Utah devotees have developed to share Krishna-consciousness, including their popular multi-city Color Festivals.
