The Vrindavan Institute for Higher Education (VIHE) is pleased to announce a series of courses for the upcoming year that will allow devotees worldwide to deepen their study of Bhakti texts. These courses offer an opportunity for dedicated sadhakas to immerse themselves in the teachings of the scriptures and to grow in their personal devotional practices.
VIHE has long been a place where devotees come to study sacred texts under the guidance of experienced teachers, and this year, four comprehensive courses will be available for devotees seeking spiritual growth and knowledge.
Starting January 2025
This online course is designed to guide devotees through the first two cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam. It includes in-depth seminars on topics such as “The Invocation,” “Chandas in Srimad Bhagavatam,” and “The Ten Topics of Srimad Bhagavatam.”

This format allows devotees to balance their study of Bhagavatam with their daily responsibilities.

Starting January 9, 2025
Bhakti-sastri is an essential course for devotees seeking to strengthen their understanding of key scriptures. This program covers the Bhagavad-gita As It Is, Sri Isopanisad, Nectar of Devotion, and Nectar of Instruction. The course will also include classes on Deity Worship, Sanskṛit Pronunciation, and Values.

This course is open to those following the four regulative principles and chanting 16 rounds of the Maha Mantra daily.

Starting December 17, 2024
This intensive online course covers Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam Cantos 7, 8, and 9, with a focus on deeper study and understanding. It is ideal for serious students of sastra who want to further their knowledge of bhakti philosophy and the teachings of Śrīla Prabhupāda.
December 21, 2024 – April 24, 2025
This hybrid course allows devotees to study the third canto of Srimad Bhagavatam either online or in person at the holy dhama of Vṛndavana. The on-site portion includes harinama, Monday kirtana, Vraja darsana, and lunch prasadam, giving devotees an immersive spiritual experience.
Srila Prabhupada emphasized the importance of scriptural study, saying, “The Bhagavatam is the spotless Purana that guides devotees to understand the ultimate purpose of life and spiritual realization.” By studying under experienced teachers in a structured environment, devotees will gain the tools they need to deepen their spiritual practice and better serve Lord Caitanya’s mission.
