During the auspicious month of Kartik, from October 17, 2024, to November 15, 2024, the Vrindavan Institute for Higher Education (VIHE) is offering a special compilation of five courses titled ‘Kartika Vidya Sankalpa,’ which translates to “a vow of knowledge during the month of Kartika.”
This initiative is much more than just a series of courses. In the Mathura Mahatmya, Srila Rupa Goswami reveals that spending the month of Kartika in Vrindavan leads one to the supreme spiritual destination. Embracing this truth, VIHE is offering devotees a sacred opportunity to not only deepen their spiritual understanding but also to take a vow of learning during this holy month in the sacred atmosphere of Vrindavan.
Srila Prabhupada consistently emphasized the importance of studying the scriptures under the guidance of experienced devotees. In keeping with this principle, from November 3 to November 15, 2024, VIHE will provide participants with authentic spiritual education, ensuring they receive the knowledge under the expert guidance of the following devotees.
Teacher Training Course 1
The first offering, Teacher Training Course 1, facilitated by Aniruddha Dasa, will take place from November 3 to 9 and will be held on-site. This course aims to equip participants with the essential skills needed to teach Krishna Consciousness effectively. Simultaneously, Teacher Training Course 1 – Hindi, led by Rupanuga Bhakta Dasa, will be conducted from November 3 to 9 in Hindi, providing a valuable opportunity for those wishing to teach in the regional language.
