Devotees worldwide are invited to celebrate a 24-Hour Kirtan event in Birmingham, UK, to be held on May 4-5, 2024. The occasion promises to be an unforgettable spiritual experience as it marks the 25th year of the gathering and will be held in a new venue that can accommodate up to 2,000 guests.

“For a quarter of a century, we have come together every year to immerse ourselves in the chanting of Lord Krishna’s name, inspired by Aindra Das and Tribhuvannatha Das,” said Mayapur Madhava Das, one of the Directors of ISKCON Birmingham. The milestone event promises to be a memorable experience filled with soul-stirring kirtans by Indradyumna Swami, Dayananda Swami, S.B. Keshava Swami, Amala Harinama Das, Nadiya Devi Dasi, Smita Krsna Das, Sharad Bihari Das, Sri Pralada Das, Hari Kirtan Das, Ananda Murti Das, Yogindra Das, and a host of UK-based kirtaniyas.

“I’m filled with a profound sense of gratitude because, over the past 25 years, I have witnessed individuals from different backgrounds come together in the heart of the UK to chant the Holy Name of the Lord,” noted Mayapur Madhava Das, “Our Kirtan event serves as a reminder of the power of collective prayer, as propagated by Sri Chaitanya prabhu.

“What amazes me most is the selfless service offered by the community to organize this festival. We have around 20 different teams who will be serving over the weekend. It creates a real sense of belonging, where devotees feel that they can contribute something back to our community.”

The larger venue, The New Bingley Hall, can accommodate more devotees and offers ample and convenient parking. Free prasadam will be also be provided to all attendees. Additionally, the festival will offer “Krishna Club” sessions for children during the kirtan event, which requires prior registration. Over 1,200 people have already registered for the event, so it is likely to reach capacity soon. To register and get additional details, click here.

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the event will be free, but donations to the festival are always appreciated and can be made here.
