On the evening of June 30th, a Rath Yatra program was being held within the premises of ISKCON Dhaka, Bangladesh, when a group of people, believed to be local miscreants, began throwing stones over the boundary wall, into the temple.
Luckily, none of the devotees gathered there were hurt, nor was any property damaged. The devotees managed to capture and hold the attackers until the police arrived along with a local Member of Parliament, who brought the situation under control.
As per the last report received from the Bangladesh ISKCON leaders, things are now normal and the temple is being provided round the clock security.
