Hare Krishna Movement Continues to Help Flood Affected in Fiji

Many relief organizations are currently out in the field providing relief supplies to the flood affected people in the western division as many people need asisstance.

One such organisation, the Hare Krishna Movement has so far assisted more than 3000 people in Nadi, Lautoka and Ba with cooked meals and is currently collecting clothes and other necessary items to distribute.

A member Aghari Daas said people were in tears after receiving food and asked for more serves.

He said they were told by people at the Tavarau Bhartiya School evacuation centre that they were the first people to provide assistance to the 250 plus people there.

Daas said they will be distributing food to the people at the Nacaci Hindu School and the villagers this afternoon.
