ISKCON News staff spoke to Nagesh Siddegowda over the weekend. “I’m a resident in Belfast, despite my interest to visit Krishna Island for the last 6 years, I finally made it on 1st Jan 2022.
With so many of my other friends wanting to join the visit, I hired a bus, we followed all COVID guidelines and had a great time. I had committed to donating all the excess money besides the expenses towards bus, ferry, and prasadam, and we were able to raise £300 ($382) on 1st Jan 2022 as a donation to Krishna Island.
Having meticulously completed this trip, I shared my story with BBC to promote Krishna Island, and then BBC conducted a short video documentary. During this second trip on April 10th, the group raised £770 (approximately $980) in donations for Krishna Island.
Nagesh Siddegowda also shared with us that the third trip from Belfast to Krishna Island is planned for May 14th, 2022. If you are interested in joining this group please fill out this google form.
