With the 50th anniversary of Srila Prabhupada’s departure from India onboard the Jaladuta ship, August 13, less than two weeks away, devotees in Kolkata headed by Radharaman Das are putting on a grand celebration of the event.
While many exciting offerings, including a Guinness record-breaking harinama and an ingenious bronze monument are being prepared for the celebration, an official logo has been created to celebrate Srila Prabhupada’s 36 days of maritime journey.
The logo was created by Stanislav Topolsky, a talented devotee graphic designer in Kiev, Ukraine, as a humble offering to Srila Prabhupada’s historic voyage.
The 36 dots marking Srila Prabhupada’s route across two oceans stand for the 36 days that he spent onboard the Jaladuta ship on the way from Kolkata to Boston.
