The Balkans has been hit by some of the worst natural disasters in history. Three months’ worth of rain fell on the region in just a few days, causing rivers to burst their banks and sweep into people’s homes. In Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia, the floods killed at least 35 people and forced tens of thousands to evacuate.

In Bosnia-Herzegovina, landslides have buried houses and disturbed landmines laid during the war in the 1990s.

People who lost everything in the landslide and the floods, are currently being accommodated in schools, gyms and anywhere they can find a roof above their heads.
 They are in desperate need for drinking water, food and warm clothes. 

People who have lost their homes are now in desperate need for shelter and food.

ISKCON devotees in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as in Serbia immediately responded and organized food distribution in the affected area. Currently, they distribute 2-300 plates of hot meal each day.

However, since they have limited resources, they are asking ISKCON devotees and well-wishers worldwide to contribute.
