The podcast boom has accelerated in the first half of 2020, perhaps partly due to the appetite for more streaming content while people stay at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. ISKCON devotees have also embraced the medium.
A popular Zoom conference, Wisdom of the Sages, has gone public and become a daily podcast, delivering transformational wisdom, Bhakti-yoga philosophy, and profound stories with fun and energy on Youtube, Instagram and most podcast platforms.
The tongue-in-cheek poster shows the host dressed in a suit and assuming an overly serious pose. And a fake testimonial calls it “Borderline Prajalpa.” But there’s a lot more depth to what might be ISKCON’s first video podcast show, and its host Namarasa Das, than at first may be evident.
